The recorded sounds page is where you will create and upload your sound files that will be used elsewhere in your PBX configuration.
Once you have created and uploaded your recording, you will be able to select this for use on other pages with the PBX configuration.

Create a new recording
- From the PBX homepage select 'Recordings'.
- On this page you have the following options:
- 'Add Recording' to create a new recording slot.
- 'View/Edit' to edit an existing recording.
- 'Download' to download a copy of an existing recording. (It is useful to take a backup before making any changes)
- 'Delete' to permanently remove a recording.
You will also note the 'System Dial Code' for each recording. This is if you would like to use an extension on the PBX to record the recording, simply dial this code from any extension and follow the prompts. - From here if you want to edit an existing recording, you can click 'View/Edit' on that, otherwise click 'Add Recording'.
- Explanation of the fields that you can see, please enter them:
- Give the recording a descriptive name.
- Choose a 'System Dial Code' (You can also leave blank and it'll be auto-assigned).
- Press 'Select' and choose an '.mp3' or '.wav' file to upload. - When done, press 'Save & Upload'.
This will save the changes, however, you will also need to apply these changes to put them into effect immediately. - To make these changes live, you will need to click 'Apply Changes'.
- Once the yellow bar at the top has disappeared, the changes have been applied.
