Line Keys from YMCS

Have a bunch of line keys that are exactly the same across all handsets?

Don't have the time to configure them via MyCloud PBX but want them pushed to your Yealink handsets from a central place?

You've come to the right place.

 

Prerequisites:

  • Your Yealink handsets need to be connected to and online on the YMCS platform
    • Telair Support can do this for you if not already done.
  • Login details for the YMCS portal
    • If you do not have access, you can request this by emailing the Telair Support team on support@telair.com.au
  • A list of line keys you would like to have on your handsets
    • You will need to write out the configuration information for your line keys.
      See the bottom of this guide for more information.

How to:

  1. Log into YMCS and select the "Device Configuration" option on the left-hand side to reveal the option for "Site Configuration", click it.

  2. Select "+ Add Template" in the top-right.

  3. Select your site and enter a description (optional).

  4. Click on the "Next" button.

  5. Most of the time when you go into Set/Edit Parameters it will show the "GUI" version of the configuration, for example:

    To view the text version of the configuration click the T icon in the top right-hand corner

    This way you can edit it all in one page like this (Ignore the information in the example below):

  6. Once you are finished click the "Finish" button

Configuration information for line keys:

Use the following configuration file lines and customise them to suit
You should only need to alter (Examples below):

  • Line key number - linekey.x =

  • Line key label - linekey.x.label =

  • Line key value - linekey.x.value =

Line key example for an extension Monitor
