Do you want to push out a local directory to your Yealink handsets from one central place? You've come to the right place.
Note: You cannot push out directories onto Yealink cordless handsets, such as
the W60Bs etc from YCMS
Prerequisites:
- Your Yealink handsets need to be connected to and online on the YMCS platform
- Telair Support can do this for you if not already done.
- Login details for the YMCS portal
- If you do not have access, you can request this by emailing the Telair Support team on support@telair.com.au
- A list of contacts you would like to have in your handset directories
How to:
- Log into YMCS and select the "Resource Management" option on the left-hand side.
-
Select "+ Add Resource" in the top-right.
-
Select "Local Directory File" as the Resource Type.
-
Name the "Resource Name" appropriately.
-
Our preferred format is - PBXName_LocalDirectory
-
-
Select the "Site" your PBX to apply it.
-
In the "Select the file" section use the XML file generator to create your directory XML file. Then upload it.
- The "Description" section is optional.
-
When completed press the OK button at the bottom left.
-
You should then be able to see the resource you just created.
-
Select the "Push" option from the right-hand side under "Operation".
-
Select the handsets you would like to push the directory to.
-
Once you have finished selecting the handsets click the "Push to Update" button in the bottom right.
-
It will ask you when you would like to push this, select the option you would like (usually "At once"), and click the "OK" button on the right.
-
It should then have the little pop-up of "Operate successfully!" at the top in the middle.
-
Voilà, the handsets you pushed the local directory out to should now have it.
