If you're travelling overseas and want to ensure your Roaming Pack is activated, or if you'd like to view any other active packs and their balances, Telair provides a simple and convenient method. You can check this information by sending a text message from your mobile device.
Note: this method is only applicable to Telair mobile services that operate on the Telstra Wholesale mobile network.
Steps to Check Roaming Pack Activation and Other Balances

Open Your Messaging App:
- Navigate to the messaging app on your mobile phone.

Compose a New Message:
- In the "To" field, enter the number 179.

Enter the Message Content:
- Type the word BAL (without quotes) in the message body.

Send the Message:
- Hit the send button to send the message to 179.

Receive Your Balance Information:
- Within a few moments, you will receive a reply text message containing details about your active Roaming Pack, as well as any other packs and their respective balances.

- No Additional Cost: Sending the BAL message to 179 is free of charge for Telair customers.
- Real-Time Information: The balance information provided is updated in real-time, giving you the most current status of your packs.
- International Use: This service works both domestically and while you’re abroad, ensuring you can always check your pack status and balance, no matter where you are.
